The pandemic has had a significant impact on students’ learning in recent years. Amidst the challenges and uncertainties brought by the pandemic, our students continued to reap very encouraging results in the 2023 HKDSE through their commendable hard work, resilience and determination.

At the same time, we witnessed a new record high of 75.2% of our students attaining the minimum requirement for local university undergraduate programmes, which was well above the Hong Kong average of 42.4%. Additionally, 71% of our students received university degree offers through JUPAS (against the territory average of 40.4%). Of these, nearly 50% were admitted to various undergraduate programmes at The University of Hong Kong (HKU), The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST).

As a DSS school that prides itself on providing a multi-cultural and multi-lingual learning environment where students can develop language proficiency and an international outlook, we were delighted to announce that an approximately 18% and 73% of our students attained Level 5* and Level 4 or above in the HKDSE English Language exam respectively.
